Access permission for all Regional Issues forums has been granted to all anonymous visitors. Registration is still required for posting new topics and for commenting.

The initial one-year period of administration by the Arkansas SBDC will end on September 30, 2008. At that time, all forums will be accessible by anonymous visitors. Additionally, the free online small business courses, will cease.

Ozarks U is now officially open. January 7th is our Grand Opening day. We've had a steady stream of visitors creating accounts and exploring the site. Please tell your friends and busineses about this exciting new resource.

Members of the NCARED board of directors and Arkansas SBDC staff have created accounts. As we get our project partners on board, we'll have a critical mass of expertise and wisdom for everyone to tap into. Imagine what could be accomplished with the collective wisdom of hundreds of people.

Week two of Ozarks.com has been busy:

- B7 Green template switched to Bizcenter template.
- Bizcenter template edited from fixed width to fluid width.
- Poorman's CRON installed to trigger news feed updates.
- Forum access module installed for private forums.
- Forums template edited to match Bizcenter style.
- Front-page module installed to enable different home pages for users and guests.
- Captcha module installed to prevent spam account creation by scripts.
- ASBDC Online eLearning class links added to content.
- Partner logos and disclaimer added to footer block.
