Disaster Unemployment Assistance For Flood VictimsThose who have become unemployed because of the storms will be able to apply for Disaster Unemployment Assistance. President Bush declared Baxter, Benton, Independence, Jackson, Lawrence, Logan, Madison, Marion, Randolph, Stone and Woodruff counties as federal disaster areas. Residents in these counties are eligible for assistance, but they must have worked or have been scheduled to work in the disaster area. DUA claims may be filed at the following DWS offices: Baxter County Benton County Independence County Jackson County Lawrence County / Walnut Ridge Local Office Logan County Madison County Marion County Randolph County Stone County Woodruff County |
